State of the Superintendency

Fewer than a quarter of superintendents today have a severance (buyout) provision in their contract. This has not changed over the past three years, according to 萝莉网surveys.

Slightly more female superintendents have such provisions in their contracts than their male counterparts.

This topic is sensitive and can be awkward for superintendents and their boards, but it does not negate the reality that superintendents and school boards will one day part ways.
