As part of ARP, there was a generous set-aside made for expenditures dedicated to homeless children and youth. These funds must also be obligated by September 30th. AASA鈥檚 trusted partner, SchoolHouse Connection, just released that contains a great checklist of what every LEA who has money left to spend should consider doing with these funds. In addition, they are reprising a so district leaders can ask specific questions about spending these remaining funds. We must do our best to support our most vulnerable students and this webinar and 2-pager should be helpful to any LEA who needs assistance in determining the best spending options for this important population of students.
