Andrew Wise

Superintendent, Center Cass School District 66 (Ill.)

Drawing from over two decades in educational leadership, Andrew Wise currently serves at Center Cass School District 66, where he brings a wealth of experience in PreK-12 administration. His journey in education began as a teacher and coach in Port St. Lucie School District, before advancing through various leadership roles including principalships and district-level positions at Olympia Schools.

Dr. Wise holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Education from Illinois State University, where he also shares his expertise as a professor for doctoral and master’s coursework. His contributions to education extend beyond the classroom - he's a national presenter for major educational organizations and has been featured in AASA’s School Administrator magazine. In 2019, his dedication was honored with Illinois State University's Superintendent of the Year Award.

His leadership has made tangible impacts through successful referenda passages, major construction projects across five schools, and numerous grant acquisitions. He's particularly passionate about developing future educational leaders and has served on multiple professional boards, including the ÂÜÀòÍøGoverning Board and College Board Superintendent Advisory Committee.

Beyond his professional achievements, he's an outdoor enthusiast who has hiked nearly every National Park over the past two decades. A proud Chicagoan at heart, he's a devoted fan of the White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks. His approach to leadership is grounded in his personal philosophy of continuous improvement, unconditional support for others, and maintaining strong values while remaining open-minded - principles that have guided his successful career in educational leadership.
